Here is a peek at how my mind gets away from me. I've been working with Alcohol inks that I made from sharpies. I made a TON of them. (I had a 24 pack I bought years ago and never used)I've had so much fun with them, I keep seeing out more stuff to do. Ha! One of the first things I did were 2 mini stemless wineglasses. I alcohol inked them in some awesome colors and then cut some vinyl decals with my Cricut. One says design and the other, create. I always wished I had a 3rd that said imagine to properly begin the cycle - imagine, design, create. So, when I wound up with a regular stemless wineglass that I decorated with some used tape from a watercolor I had done and realized it had the perfect spot for a creatively inspirational word. I choose Imagine, of course. I can't find a font I like, so I google it for ideas. Turns out, my head can't follow directions so when I stumble upon things for the Lennon song (I LOVE that song) I realize my cup had other plans for itself. I give in to the cup and wind up with a Lennon imagine decal on my cup. I love it. But, during that quick Google Search, I found oodles of images and now I wanna make like 7 different Lennon shirts. Ha!

Loom Knitting
My daughter recently was given a loom knitting kit for Christmas. She used it a little but quickly got bored as anything that requires sitting still tends to bore her relatively quick. lol. So, I basically, I got a Loom knitting kit for Christmas. I gotta say, I kinda love it. I even got a couple more looms to go with it. lol. I've made 1 hat, 1 headband, 1 scarf and 2 flowers. I found some resources on youtube and instagram which I haven't really looked into but I have them and that's the first step. lol. So, fingers crossed I do that soon. I'm struggling with my yarning, as of late. I unintentionally took off a year or more from yarning with the exception of VERY VERY SLOWLY picking away at a baby blanket. Once I realized what had happened and that it had been so very long since I'd completed any kind of yarn project, I decided I needed to fix that. SO I started back up and made a few things. This also happened to coincide with the loom knitting kit so it worked out well. I was doing good. Then I got a cricut and now I'm distracted. HA! I will get back to it, though. I will say, there may be a bit of cricut chat that oozes into this blog, too, now. It's a heap of fun. If you can get one, do it. DO IT. lol.
